The line was long. So I suggest you come early. Very good ramen.

Famous ramen in Ikebukuro. Expect a line around lunch and dinner time. Not so great for large group since most of the seat is a single seater.

The best ramen I've ever had. Everything was perfectly balanced and the broth is flawless. A must go for any ramen lover! English menu too!

Ramen is value for money. Soup is tasty though a little too strong for my liking. Queue time is about 30 to 40 minutes. After 10pm, the pricing will be increased.

Had the mutekiya ramen. 😠One of the best meals of my life. Everything was cooked and flavored perfectly

I visit this place every time I fly to Tokyo. It’s one of the best ramen in Japan. The soup base is extremely rich and has lots of flavour. Occasionally I find that the really thick soup is too filling and oily, but it doesn’t stop me eating it. There’s always a long line but it’s definitely worth the wait.

Second time here ... they serve mutekiya ramen as their favourite dishes ... you can eat here for 1200Â¥(mutekiya ramen)

Eat when I come to Tokyo every time! Excellent taste and value for money! The set back is you have to queue for around 30 mins to 1 hours. The faster trick is tell the staff you accept the single seat even you come with more than one person!

Delicious ramen and they cater to non Japanese speakers!! The line may look big but it generally goes quickly.

It’s open till 4 am, loved it. Parking is cheaper across the road. English menu available . Great bowl of ramen.

Absolutely my favourite ramen in Tokyo! It's really easy to find, you just have to follow the long line of people that gathers in front of it every day! You'll have to wait to get inside, but it will be worth it, trust me! This specific ramen is one of the things I miss the most from Japan!

Waited for quite awhile to get in – around 40 minutes or more. The ramen was worth the wait though. Broth was thick and delicious, and the pork was amazing! Never seen such generously-sized chunks in any other ramen places, and they were very nicely roasted and full of flavour.

DELICIOUS! and affordable. We were both so stuffed but wanted to keep eating. A+++ ramen. If you go in the week the queue isn't so bad. We waited maybe 15 minutes? Worth it.

The soup was made with pork.I thought its gonna be salty and heavy, however it wasn't. It's a good place to try Japanese ramen.I recommand to put at least one garic.

Very organized and quick service, even with a long line, so definitely worth the small wait. The broth was very rich and delicious. I got the pork-only ramen, and added just a touch of soy sauce, garlic, and pepper to maximize the flavor.

One of the Best Ramen in Tokyo! Rich Pork Broth Soup and chewy noodles. The meat is tender and thick. Will always come back when we visit Tokyo. Only downside is that due to many tourist visiting now, the wait time is alot longer compared to before. Many tourist like to chit chat while eating and stay in the shop even after eating. Even when waiting in line some tourist are loud and ignorant to the surrounding. Recommend to do what the Japanese do (aka. "When in Rome, do what the Roman's do!) same for any countries we visit. So that everyone who spend the time and money to travel can enjoy the good food in Japan.

Very well priced ramen. I got the number 1 special, the most popular dish. This shop gives you the biggest chunks of pork I’ve seen at any shop. They were delicious and well prepared. The broth is very rich and flavorful. The line can be long, but they move it quickly by taking your order ahead of time. Total wait for me was about 40 minutes at 2pm on a weekday.

Stopped by this place after passing by the restaurant for a few days and seeing a line. I was able to get into the restaurant early in the morning to try it out. It was not a good idea to eat ramen in the morning because I was not able to finish my portion. The portion was pretty large though, so if you plan on coming be sure to bring your appetite. The pork was really good. The meat melted off as you bit into it.Inside the restaurant is pretty small so that's probably why there's always a line because there's not enough seats for everybody. Bathroom is available.

I visited on a Sunday, a bit past 10pm. I waited about 35 min before I was seated. There is no shelter from the rain, so be sure to bring an umbrella if the forecast calls for one. There is an English menu available. They take your order as you wait in line. I got the Tyasyu-men (pork ramen), pictured below, 1250Â¥ total. They only take cash. The broth has a delicious complex flavor, while the pork is soft and breaks apart in your mouth. Also there's a lot of pork in this order. Would visit again.

Seriously first meat dominate ramen in my life, 1 pound dokamori tyasyu-men has about 11 pieces of big thick chuck of grilled pork!!! It comes with mustard, which I really like it. My friend order No.3 ramen, it has about 6 pieces in it! This meal was pretty heavy to us because we were over order food or over estimated our stomachs capacities🤣

Personally the best ramen I tried in Tokyo. I liked how the condiments surrounded you, the chrysanthemum tea served, and most importantly the ramen! The broth was thick & delicious, complimented with slices of succulent and juicy pork!! Highly recommended!!
Jonathan Bradley
First real ramen in Tokyo. Did not disappoint. Small, fast, clean, efficient, and most importantly delicious.

The hype is real!!!! Absolutely wonderful! Very heavy but delisiously flavorful ramen. Would come back to Tokyo just for this ramen alone! Very small inside so expect a wait, but WORTH IT! You'll be coming back for more I promise.
Jean Lim
Liked the texture of the noodles, very firm. However it tasted a little “alkaliney†so if you’re into handmade noodles it’s a minus. Broth was thick and rich. However pork was lean and doesn’t melt in your mouth.

I think about this place every time I think about Japan. I had this before I really knew what good food was because it blew my mind! I can't wait to go back to Tokyo to eat here again.

It is legit ! Very rich soup base and the texture of the ramen was really good. Perfect on a cold day.

Very pleasantly surprised by this place! Thought that it would be a tourist trap, but turned out to be a really legit ramen shop. The food was great, the staff friendly. They have an English menu that doesn't decide for you what you want!Just a great ramen shop!
